GayVon Seitz, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
She was born on October 6, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edgar and Elsie Potts Seitz. Gayvon was a lifetime member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church. She loved sewing, decorating, and crafts. GayVon loved her family, and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Leslie Seitz and Elsie Mae Seitz; brother, Dennis Seitz; nephew, Jason Gabriel Seitz.
GayVon is survived by her brother, George (Denise) Seitz; sister-in-law, Terry Seitz; nieces, Mia (Karl) Seitz, Angela Seitz McIntyre, Susan Brittain-Seitz; and nephew, Joey Maier (Ashley). She was a loving great aunt and "GiGi" to Hailey (Dalton) Oswald, Kai, Ruby, Leo, Mason, Brian, Rylee, Raegan, Paislee, Savannah, and Rosemarie.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, the funeral home with burial to follow at Hopewell Cemetery .
The family requests that contributions in GayVon 's memory be made to Hopewell Cemetery.
