Gary Edward Sharpe, Sr.

Gary Edward Sharpe Sr., 73, of Payneville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
He was born on November 11, 1950 in Hazard, Kentucky to Earl and Peggy (Mingus) Sharpe. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother in law, Mackie Neumann.
Gary is survived by his loving son, Gary (Deanna Polsgrove) Sharpe, Jr., granddaughter, Kaylee Sharpe, sisters, Paula (Jim) Phillips, Marsha Neumann and Tina (Robert) Ayers. Along with his beloved friend, Charlie Clark and his brothers with Second Brigade Motorcycle Club, and his cherished dog, Sophia "Baby Girl".
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20th and from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 21st at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service honoring Gary will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Gary's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
