Gary Lee Ableidinger

Gary Lee Ableidinger, 66, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was a jack of all trades that enjoyed boating, gardening, tending to his flowers and his favorite banana trees. Gary was a United States Army veteran, loved Nascar and was an avid UK basketball fan.
Gary was born on September 30, 1947 in Durand, Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Rose (Shuh) Ableidinger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Rose (Allen) Ableidinger.
He is survived by his wife, Debra (Keene) Ableidinger; children, Tina VanVactor, Todd Hoerter (Kim), Sandy Logsdon, Brian Farrow (Mara), Kelly Ableidinger, Jason Ableidinger (Caitlyn), Kristin Shelburne, James Peck (Aprille), Jennifer Frazier; many brothers and sisters; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with military honors and cremation to follow.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Clark Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion towards Gary over the last few weeks.
Memorial contributions may be made to VistaCare Hospice – Gentiva (391 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
