Gary Michael Land

Gary Michael Land, 77, of Middletown, Kentucky passed away on March 7, 2023. Gary was a graduate of Shawnee High School and the University of Louisville. He retired from the Ford Truck Plant in Louisville, and was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Middletown where he was a member of the Choir.

Gary is preceded in death by his daughter, Abby Parris; parents, Joseph and Betty Land; and brother, David Land.

He is survived by loving wife of 48 years, Becky Land; daughter, Amanda Mullins (Richard); grandchildren, Michael Boykin (Ellie), Lilly Parris, Maggie Parris, Lindley Lucas (Danny), and Alex Mullins; great grand children, Talus and Sawyer; brothers, Christopher Land (Judy) and Jim Land (Debbie); sister, Susan Birnbaum (Richard); sister-in-law, Billie Land; and son-in-law, Josh Parris (Jennifer).

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 9 to 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Middletown (11721 Main St., Middletown, KY 40243). A funeral ceremony will follow at 11 A.M. that day at the church with burial to follow at Proctor Cemetery in Beattyville, KY.
