Gary Steven Dolleris

Gary Steven "Steve" Dolleris, age 73 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023. Steve was born on August 9, 1950 to the late Kenneth and Bernice Ford Dolleris. He enjoyed volunteering with Northeast Christian Church for many years, an avid golfer, spending time with his children, cooking his own homemade secret meals for the family, playing Uno with family, and losing every time. Steve graduated from Waggener high school in 1968 and attended at the University of Louisville where he majored in accounting.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 40 years, Deborah Dolleris; children, Shane Dolleris, Jennifer Dolleris, Katherine Nicole Dolleris, Steven Dolleris and Ryan Dolleris; grandchildren, Emmy, Gracie, Elly, Sam, Tsukiko and Rayah; cousin, Larry Brown; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5pm on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Northeast Christian Church 9900 Brownsboro Rd, Louisville, KY 40241, with a celebration of Steve's' life there at 5pm. Military honors will follow.

To our Father from all his children: we all loved our dad to the ends of the earth, as he loved us also but 1000X more that we are certain of. We are deeply saddened that our time with him had to be cut so short, we wish he could have been able to see his 2 youngest children graduate high school & college once the time were to come. Also to meet his new grandbaby that will be here in December. But to know he is pain free & at peace does give us peace also, our dad knew the lord and we know that's exactly who he's with. Having a father like ours wasn't just a blessing it was more than words can describe. our father was such a selfless person and always had such a pleasantly sweet personality. As his children we will cherish every memory & carry his love with us forever as we carry on with this new acceptance of life. "written by Katherine Nicole"
