Gary Brown

Gary Brown, age 55 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Gary retired from the city of Louisville and was a Methodist by faith. He was an avid UK fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Keith G. Brown.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Janice Tucker Brown; mother, Doris Harsham (Ted); brother, Mark Brown; sisters, Debbie Adcock (Robert) and Sharon Thompson; aunts and uncle, Carolyn Plappert (Todd) and Pauline Franklin; nieces, Beth McMichael (Jason), Nellie, Missy, Samantha, Henrietta, Katlin, Casey, Miranda, Amanada, Savannah, Elena Patrick (Woody) and Leslie Patrick (Bub); nephews, Shawn Brown, Bobby Thompson and Robby Adcock (Katie), Travis, Brad, Herbert, Cody and Gene Smith (Melda); sister-in-laws, Anna Smith, Alice Spurlock, Kathy Tucker and Sandra Tucker; brother-in-law, Sammy Tucker (Geraldine). Also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 11am Friday, March 21, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
