Gail E. Laycock

Gail E. Laycock, 70, of Georgetown passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011. He was born on July 22, 1940 to the late Cassie G. and Leona (Morris) Laycock. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Muriel Laycock, Mary Bridges, and half-brother, Floyd Laycock.

Gail is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna L. (Krueger) Laycock; sons, Jeffrey A. Laycock (Mindy) of Jeffersonville and Troy E. Laycock (Tammy) of Georgetown, Indiana; daughter, Michele L. Southerland of Georgetown; grandchildren, Dustin Roberts, John Allen, Taylor Allen, and Michael Lewis; and great grandchild, Kristian Lewis.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Tuesday, March 8 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 9 in the Paul F. Kraft Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus - the Community Hospice of Louisville.
