Frederick E. Chinn Jr. 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.
He was born on March 9, 1960 in Harrison County, Indiana to Frederick and Wanda (Troncin) Chinn. He is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Nancy Chinn.
Fred was a strong man of faith, he was a Christian that attended Cross Baptist Church. He was a loving family man who cherished his wife and children. Fred enjoyed fishing, bowling and going on vacations; especially the beach. He was a handyman, great cook and was always the life of the party. He never met a stranger. Fred was a hard worker; working for Advance Distribution Services for the last 15 years. Fred was loved by many and will be missed by many.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Tonya Reed Chinn, mother, Wanda Catherine Chinn, children, Elijah Chinn, Zion Chinn, Daniel (Stacy) Chinn, Summer (Jimmy) Chinn and Douglas (Diamond) Chinn, grandchildren, Tyler, Peyton, Logan, Karma, Benjamin, Jasmine, Damion, Ely and Isabella, his siblings, Cindy (Larry) Bauer, Mark Chinn, David (Retta) Chinn, Sam (Kathy) Chinn, Jerry (Debbie) Chinn, Jennifer (Jeff) Bube, Brian (Amy) Chinn and Michael (Gina) Chinn, along with a host of other family and friends that will miss him very much.
His Memorial Service will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Immediately following the memorial, the family will continue celebrating his life from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
