October 26, 1928 — January 9, 2013
Cross, Fred W. Brig.Gen. (retired) 84 passed away January 9th. He was a retired Brigadier General, USAF with 33 years of service and a member of MOAA, VFW, Mititary Order of World Wars, Masonic Lodge, Kosair Shrine and a deacon and active member of Westport Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Darlene Witten; sons,
Fred D. Cross (Cynthia), Ronald E. Cross (Elizabeth) and their Mother Frances Cross and sons Robert L. Witten (Erin) and Dwight D. Witten (Susan).
The family would like to give recognition and thanks to Melissa English, caregiver and David Deatrick Sr., close family friend and helper.
Ceremony 10 AM Wednesday, January 16, 2012 at Westport Road Baptist Church,9705 Westport Road Louisville, KY., with burial in KY Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Visitation 3-8 PM Tuesday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to his Church.
