Franklin Gray Sr.

Franklin Enoch Gray Sr., 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Franklin was an avid University of Louisville Cardinals fan, and loved watching any and all sports. He enjoyed being in the outdoors going fishing and hunting. Franklin was faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He worked over 40 years for Kellogg's Corporation. He enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. Franklin will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was born on January 30, 1947 in Baltimore , Maryland to Clement Gray and Lola Shelton. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Son, Franklin Gray, Jr., Sisters, Valarie Gray, Wilhelmina Gray, and Renee Lewis, Grandson, Trenton Jones.

Franklin is survived by his loving Wife of 38 years, Dianne Gray, Daughters, Shannon Gray (Timothy Perry), Whitney Gray (Courtney Lanham), Son, William Trice, Godson, James Wright Jr., Brothers, Greg Smith, Clement (Lorraine) Gray, and Randolph (Angela) Gray, Sister, Ruth Graham, Grandchildren, Shonte Steen, Jr., Damontre Steen, and Icez Miller, Great-Granddaughter, Marley Jones. Franklin also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, (3315 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Franklin's memory be made to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
