Francis Lee (Stringer) Duff, 72, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. She had a love for dogs, cooking, and entertaining her family. Francis was a people person that never met a stranger, touched many lives in her community, and was always willing to help others. She enjoyed playing games, working puzzles, and doing crafts.

She was born on September 3, 1949, in Monticello, Kentucky, to Orl and Evelyn (Lee) Stringer. In addition to her parents, Francis was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Duff; and son, Jack Steiner III.

Francis is survived by her daughters, Holly Crawford (Brian) and Jennifer Shirley; grandchildren, Eli Crawford, Jack Foldyna, and Francesca Shirley; and siblings, Fred Ward and Carolyn Garner (Tony).

A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky. Contributions in Francis's memory may be made to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League (215 W. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
