Frances Walden

Frances Walden, born on January 17, 1962, in Louisville, KY, passed away on June 30, 2024

In a loving tone, we commemorate the life of Frances Walden, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Frances touched the lives of so many with her kindness, grace, and unwavering love.

 She will be dearly missed by her children, Michael Walden and daughter-in-law Valerie and Mary Jane Walden and son in-law, Joe. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Lillie, Allie, Julie, Autumn, Eli, Anthony and Josh; all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Her survivors also include her sister, Juanita Lowe and brothers James Barr and Billy Williams. Frances' memory will forever be treasured by her extended family and friends who were fortunate enough to have known her warmth and generosity.

Along with her husband, Elijiah Walden, she is preceded in death by her dear mother Mary Jane Hinton Barr; father James August Barr and sister Dora Rose. In every aspect of her life, Frances exemplified strength and compassion. Her spirit will continue to inspire all those who were blessed to have shared in the light she brought into the world. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
