Frances Marie Nelson, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
She was born on April 30, 1936 in Springfield, Tennessee to Standford and Luvenia (Woodard) Patterson. She is preceded in death by her Father, Standford Patterson, Mother, Luvenia Johnson, Husband, William Starling Nelson, Jr., Grandchildren, Tamika Dillon and Starling Euegene "Junie" Thomas, Jr., Brothers, Joe Patterson and Johnny Patterson.
Frances is survived by her loving family, Children, Theresa A. (Corsell) Goatley, William T. Dillon, Debra M. McKinley, Starling E. (Diana) Nelson, and Ricky L. Nelson; 16 Grandchildren; 24 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Mamie L. Murphy; Sister-In-Law, Marie Patterson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Moore Temple Church of God in Christ, (2315 W. Broadway). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at Moore Temple Church of God in Christ with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
