C. Frances (Kinslow) Murphy, 73, of Palmyra, passed away on January 8, 2013 at her home.
Frances was born on March 22, 1939 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky to the late Mike & Ruby Lee (England) Kinslow. Her four-legged faithful companions were Charlie Brown, Nathan, Molly & Maggie.
Frances is survived by: her children, Debbie Thompson (Paul), Melinda Martin, Euda Faulkner (Kenneth), Albert "Bo" Murphy, Audrey Murphy (Cheryl), & Vicki Riddle (Jim); brother, Wayne Kinslow (Ruth Jane); sister, Sue Logsdon (Jerry); grandchildren, Jamie Williams (Jeff), Brandon Thompson (Kaleena), Paula Sponhouse (Rodney), Amanda Martin, Clinton Martin, Mark Seewer (Jeanna), Alice Seewer, Amy Schuler (David); and 13 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "C.D." Murphy; sister, Burnie Pedigo; brothers, Lee Roy Lindsey & Shirley Kinslow.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 6 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 6 PM at the funeral home immediately following visitation. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville at a later date.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association (15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693).
