Frances A. "Frankie" (Rosskopf) Mimm, 82, formerly of Diamondhead, MS passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2010. Frankie actively participated in the Midwest Poker Tour events where she was a frequent winner. She previously was involved in the VFW Women's Auxilliary in Kiln, MS and Denver, CO. She enjoyed all types of needlework, was an excellent cook, and, above all, was a very loving and affectionate mother.
Frankie was born on July 17, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. "Patti" Dungan of Diamondhead, MS, Peggy A. Small (Mark), of Sellersburg, IN; brother, Frank Rosskopf (Bobbie Jean), of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Rodney W. Dungan (Tanya) of Baton Rouge, LA, Dr. Justin Mazur (Dr. Prudence Mazur) of Houston, TX, Stephanie Conway (Arthur, Jr.), of Diamondhead, MS; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Frankie's life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the home of Peggy Small. A Memorial Service will take place in Diamondhead, MS on January 9, 2011.
The family wishes to extend gratitude to Drs. Bryan Grumley and Steven Gray for their tender care of Frankie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital (2500 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39216-4505) for the care of her great-grandson, Arthur "Nunna" Conway, III.
