Frances Michelle Barlow

Frances Michelle "Red" Barlow, 40 entered into eternal peace unexpectedly after a short illness on March 10, 2016. She was a true red head in every sense of the word that possessed an outspoken, spunky and beautiful spirit. Red was compassionate but a fighter for any cause she believed in.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Johnny B and Emma M. Cummins; paternal grandparents Charles H. Bowman, Sr. and Hester E. (Adcock) Vittitoe; aunts and uncles.

Frances is survived by her husband, Michael Barlow; daughters, Leigh Loyd, Brittany McLean, Kirsten Cartwright, Katie Cartwright; grandchildren by heart, Tink, Onesty, Michelle, Marion, Deaira, Kensi Raine and Chayse; parents, Charles H. (Vicki Alcorn) Bowman, Jr. and Linda L. (Michael) Hastings ; sisters, Lisa (Curtis) Hammiel, Linda (Paul) Jadzak, Angela Cooper, Tammy (Rick) Smith, Crystal Gowen, Amanda Fowler; brother, Matthew (Sam) Bowman; a host of cherished nieces, nephews, countless friends and her beloved fur-baby Sassy.

Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Frances life beginning at 1pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home SW.

Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery, 4766 N Preston Hwy Shepherdsville, KY 40165.
