Frances L. Lawrence

Frances L. Lawrence, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She always took pride in her flower and vegetable gardens. Once her children were grown and out on their own her dogs became her children. Frances will truly be missed by her family and friends.

She was born on January 6, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Steele, Daughter, Christine Elaine Luna.

Frances is survived by her loving Husband of 65 years, John W. Lawrence, Sr.; Children, John W Lawrence, Jr., Patricia (Rick) Schultz, and James A. (Michelle) Lawrence; Grandchildren, Evelyn Lawrence, John David Lawrence, Mark (Ashley) Trego, Cassandra Trego, Stephanie Trego, Brianna (Timmy) Torrey, James (Lizzy) Lawrence, and Destiny Lawrence; Great-Grandchildren, Paige (Anthony), Nicolai, Armani, LJ, King, Ava, Asher, Aiden, Blake, Jasmine, Skylar, Millie, Alex, Jacob, and Truett; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Novah, Parker, and August; Sister, Dorothy (Larry) King; Friend, Margo Peyton; Sister-In-Law, Edith Burdette; Brother-In-Law, Roger Lawrence, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
