Fran, 83, of Louisville, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 06, 2012. She was a member Beechmont Baptist Church and retired from Humana.
Fran is preceded death by her parents, Joseph Y. Calhoun and Nellie Harper Calhoun and her brother, Thomas Calhoun. She is survived by her sons, Garry Sturgeon (Linda) and Kenneth Sturgeon (Nell); grandchildren, Sonya Smith (Lee) and Melissa Duncan; 3 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jean Adams in Franklin, TN.
Funeral ceremony will be 11 am Friday, November 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr., with burial to follow at 2:00 EST in Horse Cave, KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 1pm until 7 pm and Friday 9 until 11 am.
