Everett Thomas Tyler Sr., 95, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Everett enjoyed working outdoors and most importantly spending time with his family.

He was born on September 2, 1928 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Curtis and Nellie (Kime) Tyler. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy L. Tyler; son, Everett T. Tyler, Jr.; brother, Curtis R. Tyler, Jr.; brother, Ralph L. Tyler; sister, Joyce A. Martin; and brother, Gerald E. Tyler.

Everett is survived by his loving children, Cathy Fein, Steven Tyler, and James (Shelley) Tyler; grandchildren, Tommy Ray Tyler, Rebecca (Craig) Powers, Ashleigh Tyler, Cash Tyler, Michaela Tyler, Amanda Sandifer, and Mercedes N. Meek; great grandchildren, Kirsten, Kaitlyn, and Keegan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service will held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). 

The family requests that contributions in Everett’s memory be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
