Everett Matthew Sweazy
October 8, 1930 — October 23, 2014
Everett Matthew Sweazy, age 84 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was an Air Force Veteran, an Elder of the Jeffersontown Christian Church and a member of the Optimist Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sarah Elizabeth Roby Sweazy; and his brother, Vernon Sweazy.
Everett is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara; daughter, Melanie Sweazy; brother, Scott Sweazy (Libby); sister-in-law, Bonnie Lowe; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Jeffersontown Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, October 27 and after 9:30 am Tuesday until time of service.
