Evelyn Louise (Reisert) Eurton

Evelyn Louise (Reisert) Eurton, 94, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Evelyn played an instrumental role on her family's farm, while at the same time, creating a home that was filled with faith and love.

She was born on May 23, 1929 in Greenville, Indiana to Leo and Lorena (Dodge) Reisert. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Eurton; siblings, Ella Marsh, Edna Williams, Edward, Earl, Everett, and Elwood Reisert; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Darlene McCoy, Doug Eurton (Barbara), Sharon Russell (Donnie), Sheila Nash, John Eurton (Tricia), Billy "Joe" Eurton (Janet), Jim Eurton (Mary), Ronnie Eurton (Pattie), Marcia Ruoff (Roy), Jackie Kininmonth (Donny); 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 8:00 a.m. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (8310 St. John Road, Starlight) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
