Evangel Alex Ward

Evangel Alex "Angel" Ward, 30, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Evangel's family meant everything to him. He was an avid gamer with a love for horror movies and geography. He was quite and shy but he loved life to the fullest. Evangel will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on December 18, 1992 in New Albany, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Robert Ward, Jr.

Evangel is survived by his loving family, Mother, Nicole Y. Ward; Siblings, Christian T. (Jaide) Moore, Rebecca R. Ward, Jillian H. Ward-Butler, and Gameecia Taylor; Nieces and Nephews, Dominick C. Ward, Mya Moore, Olivia Moore, and Charleigh Moore; Grandma, Paris Ramseur; Uncles, Desi Ramseur, Adriel Ramseur, Robert Ward, III, and Byram Ward; Aunts, Jacqueline Jones, Rhonda McClain, Shelia Thomas, and Kenya Roberts; Cousins, Xzaivyon Ramseur, Zyana Ramseur, Jacqueline Jones, Jacinda Jones, Sheldon Thomas, Clem Thomas, and Jalynn Leslie; Partner, Megan Lafollette.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 10:30 am on May 6, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 am to 11:00 am on May 6, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
