March 16, 1946 — February 25, 2012

Eva L. (Logsdon) Denton, 65, passed away on February 25, 2012 in New Albany. Eva was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt who was especially close to her sisters and her niece, Jackie. She had a delightful interest in hummingbirds.

Eva was born on March 16, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John H. and Hazel (Mayse) Logsdon.

She is survived by her children, John Logsdon (Debbie), Richard A. Logsdon, and Angela Lynch Elmore (Randy); sisters, Joyce Adcock, Clara Sant (Benny), Diana Dixon, and Maudie Dohoney; and brothers, Bobby and Richard Logsdon; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 to 3 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 3 PM on Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at Galena Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
