Eugene Wayne Grubbs Jr., 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
He was born on May 9, 1958 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to the late Eugene, Sr. and Margaret (Ashby) Grubbs. He is also preceded in death by his niece Emily Marie Bryant.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lynn (Portwood) Grubbs, sisters; Susan Bryant Thonen (Michael), Nancy A. Geiger (Richard) and four nieces and nephews; Angela Cain (Micah), Stephen Geiger (Mallory), David Geiger (Mallory), Jessica VanHoose (Alex) and eight great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
His funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Wayne's memory be made to the Humane Society or The American Diabetes Association.
