Eugene Burgin Jr.

Eugene Burgin Jr., age 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this life on February 6, 2025. A passionate outdoorsman, Eugene found joy in fishing, camping, and caring for animals, including his cherished pet squirrel, named "Girl Friend." He was known for his hardworking nature, always busy with various projects, whether it was tending to house repairs or working on trucks. Eugene was a kind-hearted individual who readily offered his assistance to those in need.

Born on June 22, 1961, in La Grange, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Eugene and June (Edens) Burgin. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Burgin Sr., mother, June Marie Edens, brother, Robbie Burgin, as well as his nephews, Damon and Craig Fisher.

Eugene leaves behind his sisters, Mary (Rex) Rogers and Lorri (Gary) Fisher; special friend, Leslie (Bob) Brawand; his beloved dog, Caesar; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
