Euda Faulkner

July 11, 1947 — December 7, 2024

Louisville, Kentucky

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Euda Faulkner, who passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024. Euda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born in Ohio County Kentucky, Euda had a passion for life that led her to a fulfilling 25-year career at Disney. After retiring, she moved back to her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, where she met and married the love of her life, Ken. Together, they spent 18 years creating a life full of love, adventure, and cherished memories.

In addition to her personal pursuits, Euda worked for United Defense/BAE, where she contributed her skills and expertise. She found fulfillment in her work there, further enriching her life after her retirement from Disney.

Euda and Ken shared a deep love of travel, exploring over 25 countries and many beautiful destinations across the United States. From Italy to Iceland, Spain, and England to Alaska, Michigan and Florida they embraced each journey with open hearts and a sense of wonder. Their travels, both near and far, were an opportunity to make memories that would last a lifetime.

In addition to her travels, Euda was deeply devoted to her family. She particularly showed her love and compassion through the care she provided for her brother, Albert “Bo.” Whether at his home or in a nursing facility, Euda was always by Bo’s side, offering him her unwavering support and care. This selfless devotion to family was a hallmark of her life.

Euda was also a talented and passionate quilter. She spent countless hours crafting intricate quilts, many of which she made for her grandchildren, leaving them with a lasting legacy of love and artistry. Even in the final weeks of her life, she continued to work on finishing special quilts for her beloved grandkids. As a member of her quilting group, her artistry and dedication will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Euda also had a passion for genealogy and “collecting things”. Researching her family and others creating thousands of pages of information.

Above all, Euda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
