Etta M. (Crawley) Hedrick, 82, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at her home. Her life's work revolved around caring for others. She was always known to have a cup of coffee on hand, and Etta was a huge fan of the "Possum," George Jones.
She was born on June 19, 1938, in Carrwood, Indiana, to Julius and Bertha (Lee) Crawley. In addition to her parents, Etta was preceded in death by her husband, Morris "Peewee" Hedrick; and siblings, Herbert Crawley, Helen Crawley, Brenda Stanfield, and Regina Crawley.
Etta is survived by her sister, Judy McCutcheon; sisters-in-law, Louise Crawley, Edna Hedrick, and Linda Decker; and brother-in-law, Hobert Stanfield; as well as generations of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
Services will be held privately at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Etta will be laid to rest at Miller Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
Contributions in Etta's memory may be made to Amedysis Hospice (305 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130) or to the Miller Cemetery Association (5829 E. SR 60, Pekin, IN 47165).
