Ethonia "Buttons" McManus, age 93 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. She worked for Bell South phone company for 30 plus years and took great pride in raising her wonderful family.
Buttons was preceded in death by loving husband, Gene McManus; parents, Wiley Embry and Jessie Wojciechowsk; grandparents, Al and Maude Embry, Sim and Leona Renfrow; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Buttons is survived by sons, Ken Hancock (Cathy) Steve Hancock (Cathy) and Dr. Scott Hancock (Judy); grandsons and wives, Todd, John, Joe, Sean, Grant, Seth Hancock, Connor Moore; granddaughters and husbands, Kelly Nixon, Jessica Smith; great-grandsons, Samuel, David, Bryce, Landon, Michael, Sterling, Cooper, Hayes, Corley; great-granddaughters, Embry, Ella and Sawyer; half-brothers, Daryl, Wiley J. Embry; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and loving sister-in-law, Peg Reo; and a host of relatives and friends.
