She was born on September 18, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky to Hugh and Eda Kiesel Scott. Ethel was in accounting at the University of Louisville and Paul Schultz Catalogs. She was a member at Southeast Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Grinstead and her parents.
Ethel is survived by her daughters, Jean Sitzler (Ed) and Linda Crawley (John); brother, Hugh Scott, Jr.; grandchildren, Eddie Sitzler (Brooke), Joe Sitzler, (Heather), Tiffany Crawley, Scott Crawley (Rainie); great grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Emma Rowe, Brendan Smith, Allie Sitzler, Elliott Sitzler, Kenzie Crawley, Wesley Crawley, and Kyle Crawley .
