Esther M. (Trouy) Rosenberger, 95, passed away on April 27, 2012. She was a long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany where she had been active with the Legion of Mary.
Esther was born on March 3, 1917 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles E. and Mary (Gonder) Trouy. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Rosenberger; siblings, Margaret Rauck, Charles Trouy; son-in-law, Charles Grigg; and daughter-in-law, Donna Rosenberger.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon A. Grigg; son, Gary Rosenberger; grandchildren, Gary Grigg (Nikki), Debbie Perri, Tammy Gabbard, Pam Bailey (Scott), Robbie Rosenberger; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Her Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM Monday, April 30, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Rosary prayed at 4 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
