Ervin Eugene Riggs, Sr. 81, of Ekron, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. Ervin was a loving and devoted husband, father, Pops and Pa. He lived for his family and enjoyed making memories with them. Ervin will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on February 7, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to Willie and Mattie (Cobble) Riggs. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Henry Riggs; and mother, Mattie Marie Riggs.
Ervin is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Theresa Riggs; daughter, Theresa (Michael) Blanckaert; son, Ervin (Pamela) Riggs, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Riggs Ellison; son, James William Riggs; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
