Ernestine Jackson

Ernestine Jackson, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Ernestine was a loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She was an educator who left a lasting impression on her students. She was always passionate in her beliefs, she was spiritual, and was always trying to embody the love of Christ everywhere she went. She was a hard worker and dedicated her life to creating a loving atmosphere and environment. Her home was filled with love and positivity.

She was born on January 12, 1945 in Greensburg, Kentucky to Robert and Susie (Scott) White. She is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Lincoln White, Mother, Susie Edna Scott White, Brothers, Wallace White, Ben White, James White, Lincoln White, Jr., Abra White, and Sister, Susie Barnett.

Ernestine is survived by her loving family, Son, Nava Ernesto (Donisha) Moore; Grandchildren, Elijah Moore, Maleigha Moore, and Ariya Moore; Sisters, Elizabeth (Earl) Newby, Barbara Porter, and Martha Richardson, as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
