November 15, 1946 — October 18, 2021

Ernest Lee "Ernie" Keith, 74, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. Ernie was a family man, and his family came before anything else. He was a proud Christian by faith and enjoyed gardening, landscaping, woodworking, and working as a skilled electrician in the surrounding area for over 30 years. He was a "jack of all trades" and was known for being able to fix anything and would lend a hand to anyone in need of help.

He was born on November 15, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William Keith and Sally (Weihe) Kessler. Along with his parents, Ernie is preceded in death by his brother, Grant Sturgeon.

Ernie is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Keith; children; Lisa and Ernest; 2 grandchildren; siblings, Richard Kessler and Judy Jeffries; cousin and close friend, Dennis Anderson; as well as numerous other cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, New Albany. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
