Ernest Jennette
Ernest Jennette, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at his residence. He worked for Brinly-Hardy Company as a welder for 28 years.
Ernest was born on March 6, 1926 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Tandy and Bertie (Ellis) Jennette. He is also preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine (Owen) Jennette and his son Jerry Lee Jennette.
Ernest is survived by his daughter Elaine Paris and her husband, Jim of Louisville; sons, Garry Steven Jennette of Louisville, Russell Dale Jennette and his wife Carol of Louisville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sisters, Juanita Rapp and Irene Evans.
His visitation will be from 2 to 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). The Funeral Service will be 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 6 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will be Friday 10:00 a.m. at Louisville Memorial Garden East.
