Ernest Blais Jr., 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
He was born on November 16, 1958 in Hollywood, Florida to Ernest Blais Sr. and Carol (Hubrich) Kerrick. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; grandparents, James and Juanita Hubrich; nieces, Ashley Blais and Rebecca Bohannon.
Ernest is survived by his loving, family; step-father, George Kerrick; brothers, Jeff (Brenda) Blais, Carl Blais, and Christopher (Debbie) Blais, Sr.; sisters, Robin (Robert) Bohannon, Michelle (Christopher Sr.) Evans; step-grandsons, Matthew Medley, and Nick Medley; and many loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Ernest was an independent and free spirit. He graduated from Jeffersontown High School and immediately joined the military. He was Catholic by Faith. He enjoyed working on and creating many gadgets. Ernest will be missed by those whose lives he touched along the way.
A celebration of life service will be held at, 14005 Old Station RD., Louisville, KY, 40245, on Sunday, April, 14th, from 12:00pm-4:00pm.
Ernest will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd, Radcliff KY, 40160, with honors on Tuesday, April 16, 2:30pm.
