Eric Tipton

Eric Tipton of Louisville, KY passed away on August 3, 2022, with his mother by his side. He leaves behind his loving mother, Marsha Tipton (John) Penrose. Eric was a dedicated career law enforcement officer, who proudly wore his uniform and badge. He was especially passionate about the children of the community he served; striving to set a good example for them was very important to him. Eric's love of animals began at home with his mother.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 9:30am-12:30pm with a celebration of Eric's life beginning at 12:30pm.

A graveside service will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 296 Askins Road, Fordsville, KY, beginning at 3PM (CST).
