Eric Michael Niestockel

Eric Michael Niestockel of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 50. Born on August 12, 1974, Eric was known for his sharp wit and intelligence. He was a proud supporter of former President Trump, reflecting his strong political convictions.

Eric dedicated many years to the lumber industry, where he was respected for his hard work and expertise. Outside of his career, he had a passion for everything patriotic and various collections that brought him much joy and satisfaction.

Eric was a devoted family man, cherishing time spent with his beloved granddaughters, Juniper and Marilyn. His role as a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, providing him with endless pride and happiness.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Angela Niestockel; his mother, Naomi Niestockel; his father, Timothy Niestockel; his daughter, Emily Wheeler; and his son-in-law, Ezra Wheeler. Eric's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories and memories shared by those who knew and loved him.

Cremation was chosen following Eric's wishes and he will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
