Eric Christopher Hill, 50, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023. He enjoyed sports, especially Indiana University basketball, collecting wolf and NASCAR figurines in his younger years, and working on stock cars.
Eric was born on March 21, 1973, in Salem, Indiana, to Dan Hill and Debra (Jones) Long. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Thomas Long; grandmother, Peggy Jones; grandfather, Arthur Hill; two uncles, Tim Hill and William "Bill" Hill; and several cousins and great-aunts.
Eric is survived by his father, Dan (Tammy) Hill; mother, Debra Long; sister, Tiffany (Danny) Mullinix; grandmother, Josephine Hudgens; niece, Kayla (David) Wilson; nephew, Kyle Hutchins; girlfriend, Tara Bowley; and three great-nieces and -nephews, Kinsley, Novalynn, and David.
It was Eric wishes to be cremated with no services. Cremation has been entrusted to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
