Erdean Newkirk

Erdean Newkirk (Flewallen),92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 1, 2014. She was born on November 1, 1921. Erdean was a member of Ralph Ave Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maude Flewallen (Greathouse), father, Carlie Flewallen, and her husband, John E. Newkirk. She is survived by her two children, son, Mike Newkirk, and daughter, Carol Stallard(EG); granddaughters; Vicki Durham, and Donna Monroe; grandsons, Michael Newkirk, and, Jason Newkirk(Vanessa),and great-granddaughters, Violet Newkirk, and Mikayla Renfrow. Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will continue Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 12:00 noon, until time of service. The funeral service to honor the life of Erdean will be held at 2pm, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the funeral home, with a private burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery.
