Emily Marie Bryant

Emily Marie Bryant, age 25 of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. Emily was a graduate of Bullitt East High School. She was a student who spent two years at Western Kentucky University and was currently studying at I.U.S. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, worked at Kohl's for several years and participated in charities for the hungry. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret Grubbs, Howard Thonen, Gilbert and Margaret Bryant.

Emily is survived by her loving mother and step-father, Susan Bryant-Thonen and Michael Thonen; her father, Gordon Bryant; grandparents, Eugene Grubbs and Catherine Thonen; aunts and uncles, Nancy Geiger (Richard), Lynn Grubbs (Wayne), Charlene Thonen (Bob) and Robin Thonen (Dave), Janice Federick, Kim Thonen and Kelly Hammer; many cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1-8pm Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Mass of Celebration will be 10am Friday, December 1st at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Drive, Louisville, KY 40299. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (lls.org) or the Graham Brown Cancer Center.
