Emily Marie Brown

Emily Marie Brown, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Emily loved all animals, Korean rap music, and had a passion for cinematic history. Emily had a big heart and took her role sincerely as a big sister to Rachel, and she was full of compassion, empathy, and sympathy. Family meant everything to her and she would protect them with every fiber of her being. Emily will be missed by everyone who knew her and even the ones who didn't know her were drawn to her.

She was born on April 2, 1995 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kenneth and Donna (Powers) Brown. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Judith Persons.

Emily is survived by her loving family, Mother, Donna Jean Brown and Father, Kenneth Scott Brown; Sister, Rachel Linn Brown; Grandparents, Don and Linda Skaggs, and Brock Persons, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).

The family requests that contributions in Emily's memory be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
