Emilie Adeline Davenport

May 21, 1936 — December 20, 2022

Emilie Adeline Russiello was born to Parents John Russiello and Mary Russiello on May 21st 1936 in the Bronx, NYC, and passed into the arms of The Lord in Louisville, Kentucky on December 20th 2022.

Emilie had two siblings,John Russiello of Las Vegas, Nevada,and Emil Russiello of Austin,Texas. Emilie was raised in the Bronx, became an outstanding student and graduated at the top of her class. She worked as a Secretary and lived there until June of 1966, when she met and married William A.Davenport of Old Tappan NJ. She moved to Old Tappan NJ in 1966, where she raised her family of two sons Douglas and Daniel, along with William's three sons Daryl, Dale and Duane.

Emilie had a robust professional career, working as an Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO of TWA Airlines, which allowed her to travel around the world several times with her family, including her father John Russiello. She also went on to work as an Executive Administrator in Estee' Lauder's Cosmetics International Division, which allowed her to continue plenty of international travelling, this time for business and pleasure. Emilie travelled the world countless times, and even raised a Foster Child in Hong Kong, China.

Emilie had an incredible family life, which included her friends and coworkers. Emilie was "The Hostess with the Mostess", who threw countless parties and family gatherings which became legendary among her friends and coworkers alike. She was a multi-tasking woman with incredible energy and a passion for getting people together, no matter what the occasion. Emilie was always up for a dinner party, cooking Italian delicacies at a moment's notice. She also was an avid sports fan, following The New York Yankees, and The New York Jets. Emilie was unbounded with energy and passion for living, and her friends were always treated as family. She was known for decorating her parties to excruciating detail, and went to extraordinary lengths to make each party memorable.

Emilie was predeceased by her son Daniel, husband William Davenport, husband Oscar Schwartz, brother John Russiello, as well as stepsons Daryl Davenport, Dale Davenport and Duane Davenport. She is survived by son Douglas Davenport, and brother Emil Russiello, as well as grandchildren Skyler Davenport and Lance Davenport.

A Private Family Service is being held at a later date.
