Pinto, Emilie "Oma" (Cervenka), 79, of Louisville passed away December 7th. Born in Vienna, Austria, she studied Haute Couture Fashion Design in Europe and was an accomplished seamstress for Bacon's Department Store until her retirement. She was also a member of the Southeast YMCA. Emilie was preceded in death by her parents, Emilie & Franz Cervenka (Vienna), her sisters, Edith Kotroba (Vienna) and Herta Carter (Southampton, England).
She is survived by her husband Donald Pinto, her son Robert Pinto (Deborah) and daughters Debbie Pinto and Emilie Pinto-Schmeling (Forest Schmeling), grandchildren Michael Pinto, Connor Pinto, Trevor Pinto, Ryan Palmer & McKenzie Schmeling, all of Louisville, her brother Heinz Cervenka (Gudrun) & nephews Heinzi (Kerstin Kolaritsch) of Vienna and niece Christine Carter of Southampton.
Visitation Tuesday, December 14th 2pm – 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with ceremony at 7pm, burial will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association(www.heart.org.) or Crusade for Children (www.whascrusade.org.)
