Emil Collier
Emil Winston Collier passed away at his home in Louisville on November 20, 2010. Emil was born on October 14, 1930 in Covington, KY. He was a devoted member at Westport Road Baptist Church as well as a deacon, singer with the 'Westport Boys' and Sunday school teacher. Emil was a self-employed businessman and a dedicated husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Kampman Collier and three sons; David (Cynthia), Bruce (Julie), and Dwight (Lisa) and sister-in-law, Mrs. Shelva Collier. Emil was a loving grandfather to eight: Brianne, Elizabeth, Bryce, Lauren, Rebecca, Rachel, Courtney and Brittany.
Funeral ceremony will be 5:00 pm Friday, November 26, 2010, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with visitation there from 1:00 pm until time of service. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Diabetes Association Research Foundation.
