Our mother Elsie Marie Cissell went to her eternal home on October 14, 2013 at her residence in Louisville, Ky. Mrs. Cissell was 74 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Alvin Melton and Vinnie Nancy Blakely. She was also preceded in death by her husband George Cissell, Sr.
She is survived by 4 sons, George (Sonny) Cissell, Jr., David Cissell, Sr., Rene Cissell, and Johnny Cissell. She is also survived by 2 daughters Delsie Ransdell and Georgetta Yount, as well as 1 brother and 2 sisters and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The pallbearers will be David Cissell, Jr., Jesse Allen, Joseph Cissell, Richard Yount, Austin Heflin, and Corey Mc Queary.
Any one that knew Elsie knew that her family meant everything to her and that she loved her dogs and loved flowers.
