Ellen Jane Lyon
November 19, 1935 — April 28, 2017
Ellen Jean Lyon, age 81, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Atlanta, GA. She was born to the late Teddie and Inis Wallace Rayburn in Carter County, Kentucky. She is also preceded in death by her step-mother, Faye; brothers, Teddie, Doug and Bob Rayburn.
Ellen is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Kahan (Dennis) and Connie Rohleder (Brian); grandchildren, Bradley Rohleder (Becca) and Sarah Rohleder; three sisters, Guinalda, Fern and Mary Elizabeth; three brothers, Norman, Bill and Roger Rayburn; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10am-12:30pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. with a celebration of Ellen's life at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
