Emma Elizabeth Kiesler, 98, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Elizabeth was a faithful member of St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church. She worked tirelessly beside her husband for nearly 70 years to support the success of the family. Elizabeth was an excellent seamstress and quilter and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Her charity was endless. At 98, she sewed bags for the homeless and during Covid sewed masks for the nursing homes. She was an excellent cook to whom every meal was special and there was always enough to feed anyone who happened to show up. She loved the garden and freezing and canning the fruits and vegetables. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she made each feel like the "favorite." Above all, Elizabeth was a selfless Christian woman.
She was born on July 21, 1925 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Phillip Naville and Emma Seng Naville. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Kiesler, Sr.; siblings, Frank Naville and Mary Frances Geswein; and infant granddaughter, Caroline Horn.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Phillip (Agnes) Kiesler, Mary (Allan) Horn, Kathryn (Terry) Grant, Paul (Anna) Kiesler, Jr., Robert (Elizabeth) Kiesler, and Laura (Benjamin) Lampton; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren with #10 on the way.
