Elizabeth A. "Liz" (Kochert) Geary, 59, of Lanesville, Indiana passed away on July 18, 2012. She enjoyed gardening and attending auctions. Liz worked as a realtor for Remax and had a love for animals.
Liz was born on February 5, 1953 in New Albany to the late Herman E. and Regina (Naville) Kochert. She is survived by her son, Christopher "Mike" Geary (fiancée, Tina Thompson); siblings, Paul, Robert (Jennifer), James, David (Missy) Kochert, Jean Watson (Tim), Rita Nunemaker (Dave), Tom Kochert (Rhonda), Sue Kochert, DVM; and grandson, John Geary.
Her Visitation will be noon to 4 PM Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home with cremation to follow .
Memorial contributions may be made to the Floyd County Animal Shelter (215 West Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150) or St. Mary Navilleton (7500 Navilleton Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
