Elizabeth Brazeau

Elizabeth Brazeau, age 68, of Sellersburg Indiana, passed away, Thursday, August 1st, 2024. Elizabeth was born on February, 21st, 1956, in Madisonville KY, to the late Herbert and Maryjane Eades. After She graduated from Ballard High School Elizabeth continued her education at Morehead State University where she earned her associate’s degree. She worked diligently to acquire her Licensure in Insurance and began a career at Shelter Insurance Company. Elizabeth was a lover of rock and roll music, and watching her Kentucky Wildcats play. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and she was especially passionate to learn about the interests and activities of her grandchildren. She valued every moment she shared with her friends and her loving family. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and sister Leslie (Eades) Esarey.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristi Skaggs (Jeremy); Samantha Roberson (Eli); three grandchildren, Olivia Skaggs, Will Roberson, and Ben Roberson; one great granddaughter, Brynleigh Elizabeth Weaver; two sisters, Marty Hartmann (John), and Kathy Erwin, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, Becky Mynhier was a life long friend who Elizabeth cherished dearly. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, 11:00am, at Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Ave, Louisville KY, 40204. Newcomer, Cremation, Funeral and Reception, East Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville Ky, 40243, is entrusted with arrangements.
