Eliza Dona Radford

Eliza Dona Radford, 91, passed away on January 29, 2023. She retired from D & W Sales and Service after 27 years. Eliza enjoyed gardening, listening to gospel music and socializing with her friends at the Neighborhood House. She was an amazing cook and loved cooking for everyone. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she loved spending time with her family. Eliza could light up a room with her contagious smile and wonderful sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Payton Radford; daughter, Joyce H. Wilson; parents, Nolon and Cora H. Petty; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Burkhead and her siblings, Baz Lee Petty, Noah Mitchell Petty, Betty Cecil Wheeler, Zella M. Monroe, Ruel Petty, Traylor B. Petty, Nolon K. Petty, Peyton Petty and Andy B. Petty.

Eliza leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Roger (Betty) Radford, Carolyn (Doug) Burkhead and Todd Radford; grandchildren, Mike (Tina) Burkhead, III, Donna Boyett, Angela Radford, Paul Radford and Cameron Radford; sister, Helen Marie Webb and great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Burkhead, Kylie Burkhead, Kelsea Burkhead, Kysaac Burkhead, Alyssa Boyett, Alyx Boyett and Raylaine Radford.

Visitation will be Monday, February, 6, 2023, from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Eliza's life will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023, beginning at 11am at the funeral home.

Eliza will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
